No problem, we have lenses for all types of prescriptions and needs. From single-vision lenses to progressive lenses with different thinning options.
How do single-vision lenses work? And progressive lenses?
Single-vision lenses have the same prescription throughout the lens, so they only have one use, for near or for distance vision.
Progressive glasses, on the other hand, are designed so you can see far, near, and at intermediate distances, thus avoiding having to have two pairs of glasses, one for each distance.
Do I need single-vision or progressive lenses? Can you help me?
If you only have problems with near or distance vision, your lenses are single-vision. If, on the other hand, you have vision problems at both distances, progressive glasses are the solution, as you will be able to see near and far without having to change glasses.
In any case, it is always advisable to visit LUPER and have one of our opticians advise you personally.

A foolproof trick is to look for laser markings to help you see if they are in the correct position. These markings might be numbers (like "123") which, when viewed from the side, should be easily readable from left to right.
Numbers that are upside down or rotated indicate that the contact lens is inside out.

I am diabetic. Can I use contact lenses?
Yes, there's no problem. It is recommended that you use daily disposable contact lenses to reduce the risk of infections.
Can I swim with my contact lenses?
No, contact lenses are damaged by contact with salt water or chlorine. However, if it's unavoidable, it's best to use disposable daily lenses to prevent irritation and infections.
Am I too old to use contact lenses?
No, you can use them without problems. In general, there are no age restrictions.
If I play sports, what are the best contact lenses?
Of course! It's the best option for any type of sport, as you won't have to worry about sweat and movement.
Can a contact lens break inside the eye?
It's difficult but not impossible; it might be damaged or poorly hydrated and break. If that happens, remove it as soon as possible and try to find any detached piece. If you continue to experience discomfort, it is best to visit us at LUPER as soon as possible.
If I've never worn glasses, can I use contact lenses?
Absolutely! But it's always ideal to have a pair of glasses as an alternative to contact lenses.
