Low vision is a condition in which people experience a decrease in both the quantity and quality of their vision, even with the help of conventional lenses or glasses.

Low vision can be caused by EYE DISEASES such as macular degeneration (affecting central vision), glaucoma (affecting peripheral visual field), retinal damage due to diabetes (which can affect any visual area), etc.

Due to this VISUAL LOSS, the patient's quality of life and emotional state can be affected, as it makes everyday tasks difficult, such as distinguishing faces, seeing prices, watching television, or walking during the day without being dazzled.
